Update: According to CNN the network said, “Kayleigh McEnany is not currently an employee or contributor at Fox News.” However, it’s possible that there have been talks.
Trump staffers and national security officials have been struggling to find work, and potential employers have even told them they would be a “liability” and, in one instance, were even compared to the “Hitler Youth.” And then, of course, the violent insurrection encouraged by Donald Trump took place on January 6th, thus further tarnishing anyone’s reputation who worked for the former President. Numerous high-level Trump administration officials resigned in the wake of the Capitol insurrection that caused death, chaos, mayhem, and stunned the nation.
However, former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany has reportedly found a job, according to Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW).
“Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany is the latest official to take advantage of the revolving door between Fox News and the Trump administration,” CREW reports. “According to her termination financial disclosure report, McEnany reached an agreement with the company in January 2021 to start working there this month. During her stint in the Trump administration, McEnany regularly appeared on the network, including more than 20 times after Trump lost the 2020 election.”

How would anyone know the difference. She was originating the talking points Fox used; recycled talking points Fox originated; and completed the circle of derp.

Young, physically attractive, chemically blonde, cravenly conservative to the point of sociopath?
Of course they’d hire her.

She hits all the key qualifications: blond hair, shameless liar. https://t.co/97tathcGcm

Ah. That should really help with Fox’s credibility problem. https://t.co/FWfjOxbuKp

Their rating have already dropped 20%, this should put a fork in it.

McEnany’s former boss, Donald Trump, has expressed displeasure with the network, so it’s interesting that she has landed a job there. On the other hand, McEnany should feel right at home at the network. Kayleigh took part in super-spreader events without wearing a protective face mask. She’ll fit in well at Fox News, and she can continue to work as a paid liar.
