As the impending election rapidly closes in on him, and Trump has already found himself infected with the potentially deadly virus that he essentially labeled as no big deal, he’s getting far more brazen in his attacks against the guy who has served as the only beacon of hope to millions of Americans throughout this deadly crisis.
While usually rather quiet in his criticism for the President and his response to this pandemic, Dr. Anthony Fauci finally spoke up about his disapproval during an interview on 60 Minutes after Trump managed to personally contract the virus, ultimately saying that he’s “not surprised” Donald got infected and expressed further disdain for the fact that the Trump campaign falsely used his words, out of context, for a pro-Trump ad.
“I was worried that he was going to get sick when I saw him in a completely precarious situation of crowded, no separation between people, and almost nobody wearing a mask,” Fauci said of Trump during the interview. “When I saw that on TV, I said, ‘Oh my goodness. Nothing good can come out of that, that’s gotta be a problem.’ And then sure enough, it turned out to be a superspreader event.”
And, of course, Donald simply couldn’t handle that.
According to multiple reports, Trump disgustingly bashed Dr. Fauci, calling him a “disaster,” during a campaign call today.

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, who was allowed to sit in on the call, reports Trump saying of Fauci and other health officials, “People are tired of hearing Fauci and all these idiots.”
On call with campaign staff, President Trump says people are tired of hearing about coronavirus. “People are saying whatever. Just leave us alone. They’re tired of it. People are tired of hearing Fauci and all these idiots…Fauci is a nice guy. He’s been here for 500 years.”

Reports also claimed that Trump openly speculated about firing Dr. Fauci, claiming that “there’s always a bomb” when the doctor appears on TV but there’s “a bigger bomb if you fire him.”
On the heels of Trump’s unabashedly disgusting comments about America’s ray of hope in the midst of darkness, the people of this country wasted no time in offering Dr. Fauci their suggestion — resign from his official White House position and speak out against the atrocities of Donald Trump and his administration.
Take a look:
Fauci should consider resigning and speaking out. Helping get Trump out of office is the biggest contribution to American public health he can make right now. https://t.co/oI8Hur9v0V

When Dr. Fauci was at Regis HS, Trump was in military (reform) school trying to throw his roommate out of a window. Trump’s grades are still a matter of great secrecy. Fauci’s entire career is public knowledge. Hope he quits and endorses Biden. @realDonaldTrump

Fauci needs to resign now and go on every national TV show he can. Biden can rehire him in January.

Everything out of Trump’s mouth is a lie and/or **projection**. Trump’s the disaster. Fauci is exposing Trump’s criminal negligence as Americans are dying in droves. Fauci should resign and appear on every news outlet to tell America the truth about COVID & Trump, unrestrained. https://t.co/ezotZ8I9AD

There is so much at stake now, and it truly does feel as though Dr. Anthony Fauci could be our only hope.
