A Report Claimed “A Section” Trump’s Mar-A-Lago Club Had Been Partially Shutdown Due To COVID-19 Outbreak

Is anyone surprised?

Mar-a-Lago — the Palm Beach resort and now the residence to former President Donald Trump after he left New York City — is partially shut down because of an outbreak of COVID-19, the Associated Press reports. Who could have ever predicted that the super-spreading former president’s resort would shut down after he also egregiously bungled his response to the coronavirus when he first learned of the looming threat? Certainly, not me.

The report cites “several people familiar with the situation, including a club member who received a phone call informing them about the closure Friday. A receptionist at the Mar-a-Lago club confirmed the news, saying it was closed until further notice, but declined to comment further.”

“A person familiar with club operations said that, out of an abundance of caution, they had “partially closed” a “section of the club” for a short period of time and quarantined some of its workers,” the report continues.

“The people spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the situation by name,” the Associated Press reports. “The number of cases, what portions of the club were closed, or how it was affecting the former first family weren’t immediately clear.”

We’re sure it’s having a financial impact on Trump, though, as the pandemic has hammered his businesses.

Hundreds of thousands of Americans died on Trump’s watch. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden met his goal of 100 million vaccinations in the first 100 days of his administration, more than 40 days ahead of schedule.

The Trump administration imposed restrictions on travel from Europe in mid-March of last year, but it was too late by then. Trump, though, thinks he deserves credit after Biden’s successful distribution of the coveted vaccines, even though it was almost one year ago that the former president promised the American people that COVID-19 would “go away.” Now over 548 thousand Americans have died from the disease.

And even after Trump contracted the disease he mocked, the former president held super-spreader events while flouting social distancing guidelines. Now, the coronavirus is at his home once again, but this time, at Mar-a-Lago. It’s almost as if he hasn’t learned a thing.

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?
