Adam Schiff Just Responded To Trump’s Tweet Mocking Him, Sends A Clear Message

Donald Trump’s Twitter has always been a thing worthy of a 72-hour hold in a high-security mental health facility. However, now that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has finally made the necessary moves to get the impeachment process rolling, it’s turned into something worthy of a straight jacket and a nice new, comfy, and permanent home inside four padded walls.

Today, the acting Director of National Intelligence, Joseph Maguire, who was appointed by Trump himself and has only been in his newfound position for just over a month, testified before Congress regarding the contents of the whistleblower complaint that has officially served as the final nail in the coffin of Donald Trump’s presidency.

And considering this whole ordeal boils down to Donald essentially doing the same damn thing he tried to pull with Russia, which resulted in a two-year-long investigation that he barely got out of by the skin of his teeth — attempting to extort a foreign government for his own political advancements — it’s safe to say that it was about damn time.

During the course of Maguire’s testimony to Congress, several members grilled him up on both sides. But no one sank their teeth into his corrupt, lying flesh quite like Rep. Adam Schiff — who, quite frankly, has been impatiently awaiting the day that Donald Trump was forced to face the consequences of his own actions right along with the rest of us.

And he did not let this opportunity pass him by.

Schiff made sure that Maguire was thoroughly cooked before he wrapped up with him. And rightly so. The man is blatantly attempting to keep the president safe while not just completely perjuring himself to an entire room full of Congress members. It’s a fine line to walk.

Schiff walked away from the hearing today with a plethora of praises from his Democratic colleagues as well as some Republican Trump detractors.

But there was one individual specifically that was quite butthurt with the Representative after it was all said and done — and I’ll give you three guesses at to who that was, but I bet you’ll only need one.

“Adam Schiff has zero credibility. Another fantasy to hurt the Republican Party!” Trump’s tweet read as the hearing concluded.

But Schiff didn’t go home and cry into his pillow like Trump hoped his immature tweet would cause him to do. Instead, he was pretty damn flattered.

When approached by reporters after the hearing and questioned on Trump’s Twitter attack against him, Schiff simply replied, “I’m always flattered when I’m attacked by someone of the president’s character.”

Ahh… Keep your tissues hand today, Donnie boy. You’re gonna need them to soak up all those tears of defeat.
