If you haven’t heard the cries from the right about “cancel culture” lately, you must have been living under a rock. They go through cycles of outrage, and the latest is that they hate that celebrities, politicians, and bigwigs get “canceled” by consumers who don’t like their views — think white actors who have played other races in films and TV or musicians that people find out are racist or sexist.
But other times, the right seems to embrace “cancel culture” when it comes to things that offend them: They bought Keurig coffeemakers just to smash them after the company pulled its ads from Sean Hannity’s show, they purchased and burned Nike shoes and apparel after the athleticwear giant gave an endorsement deal to Colin Kaepernick, and one of Trump’s biggest supporters, Matt Schlapp, just suggested that in order to get back at people calling for redistributing police funding to community groups, conservatives should park illegally and pay their tickets to further fund the police.
Want to stick it to the people trying to #DefundthePolice? How about this: park illegally, get a ticket, and pay it. All the funds go to RE-fund the police. Who’s with me? 🚘

Today, after learning that American tire manufacturer Goodyear had announced a ban on political messages on employee apparel, Trump misunderstood it as simply a “ban on MAGA hats” and called for a boycott of the company.
Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES – They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for far less! (This is what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!).

Imagine that: The PRESIDENT calling for a boycott of an American company with almost no non-foreign competition in a tight market, based in a swing state he’ll need to win in November if he stands even the slimmest chance at reelection.
But to add insult to injury — or idiocy to stupidity — it looks like Trump failed to notice the bulletproof tires on his presidential limo are from… Drumroll, please…

Plenty of people noticed, in fact, and a simple Google search for large (high resolution) images of “The Beast” — the presidential limo — all show that the tires are indeed made by Goodyear.
For their part, Goodyear issued a statement on the matter, clarifying that they weren’t banning MAGA hats specifically, but that they simply have a policy of disallowing any political messaging at work:
Yesterday, Goodyear became the focus of a conversation that created some misconceptions about our policies and our company. Goodyear has always wholeheartedly supported both equality and law enforcement and will continue to do so. pic.twitter.com/oO6jUg2rTR

I can’t wait until America cancels this moron in November.
