Alabama Police Captain Made Dangerous Statement On His Social Media Account About Biden Voters: “Put A Bullet In Their Skull”

I hope you didn't want to keep that job, dude.

Donald Trump has certainly opened the floodgates for inappropriate behavior, yet he hasn’t condemned his supporters’ violent rhetoric or actions. Instead, the president usually deflects to Antifa — Trump’s favorite bogeymen. Well, that brings us to an Alabama police captain that is now under investigation after making political and dangerous comments on Facebook in which he directly stated that supporters of Democratic nominee Joe Biden should be shot. Isn’t he nice? I’m sure he’s fun at parties, too.

According to reports, Flomaton Police Captain Scott Walden reacted to a Facebook post that was critical of people who voted for former vice president Joe Biden saying, “They need to line up ev1 of them and put a bullet in their skull for treason.”

Flomaton Mayor Dewey Bondurant said in response that he wants Walden fired. He says the officer has been warned previously and was put on administrative leave.

“That’s what I wanted to do to start with, but by law, I can’t. So I handled it by law. We put him on administrative leave, paid leave, but we took his gun and his shield,” Bondurant said.

Well, if there’s one guy that shouldn’t have a gun, it’s Officer Walden. And according to the report, all of the officer’s recent social media posts are now evidence and part of an internal investigation.

A local barber Anthony Wesley weighed in.

“If you are in a position of authority, I think you should keep your politics neutral,” Welsley said. “It almost – who wants to line people up and shoot them in the head? People look at you as a role model, and children might aspire to be in your position one day.”

The post inciting violence has been removed from the officer’s Facebook page. And really, it’s OK not to like Biden supporters, but inciting violence isn’t part of his job description. Without a doubt, our ‘law and order’ president won’t mention this. He might, however, give him a cabinet position if he’s reelected. Trump has ramped up angry rhetoric, especially while he’s facing a public and humiliating defeat. Trump supporters are just following their president’s lead.

And a Colorado police officer has been placed on leave after sharing a post on Facebook threatening Democrats and calling on supporters of Joe Biden to “please meet me at the battle grounds.”
