Americans Are Furious After Trump Goes On All-Caps Twitter Rant, Demanding That Schools Reopen In The Fall: “WE MUST PROTECT OUR KIDS OVER OUR ECONOMY!”

This is a very bad idea that shows Trump has learned nothing from his past blunders.

Donald Trump outraged American parents by demanding today that all public schools open in the Fall despite the coronavirus continuing to sweep across the nation in record numbers.

More than 130,000 Americans have died because of the virus, especially those who had underlying medical conditions. Well, millions of children have such conditions, and studies show children face the risk of severe complications and even death from the virus, yet Trump screamed for schools to reopen later this year in an all-caps Twitter demand.

Many schools are already offering parents the option for the kids to attend school via the Internet as many did earlier this year when the pandemic closed schools this past Spring. For those who attend school regularly, kids are at risk of contracting the virus and then bringing it home to their parents and grandparents. Teachers, administrators, cafeteria workers, and other school staffers are also at risk of being infected if schools reopen.

In short, what is already a chaotic and disastrous crisis will only get worse because of Trump’s continued recklessness. One would think he would have learned from the failed reopenings in Texas and Florida where new records of coronavirus cases are being set on a daily basis.

Americans responded to Trump by telling him to go f*ck himself.

If we want our kids to stay healthy and alive, schools should remain closed until a vaccine is developed and distributed thoroughly. Had Trump kept the country locked down instead of pushing to reopen early, the worst of this pandemic may have been over by now and we could have discussed opening schools back up. Instead, it’s just another bad idea in a long line of bad ideas from this White House.

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?
