President Donald Trump has yet to whine about former President Barack Obama’s commencement addresses, but Fox & Friends did it for him with a petty attack ironically declaring that Obama isn’t “articulate.”
During the two addresses delivered on Saturday after students across the country asked him to speak to the entire Class of 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic, Obama noted that these kids are being forced to grow up fast because the so-called adults in power don’t know what they are doing.
“Doing what feels good, what’s convenient, what’s easy, that’s how little kids think. Unfortunately a lot of so-called grownups, including some with fancy titles, important jobs, still think that way, which is why things are so screwed up,” Obama said.
“More than anything, this pandemic has fully, finally torn back the curtain on the idea that so many of the folks in charge know what they’re doing,” he continued. “A lot of them aren’t even pretending to be in charge.”

Overall, Obama’s address has been nearly universally praised for being hopeful and empathetic during this time of crisis.
But, of course, Fox News hosts lashed out at him with a tinge of racism.
“The more I listen to it the weirder it gets,” Jedidiah Bila began. “When you first listen to it, you almost forget that it’s a commencement speech. You say, oh, this is President Obama, you know, giving some sort of political speech, you know, trying to say that the Trump administration is divisive.”
“But when you think about it, it’s supposed to be motivational, positive, it’s supposed to be about the graduates,” she continued. “This was not the time for what he’s doing. This was not the time to say, oh, this leadership isn’t doing a great job, or adults don’t always know what they’re doing.”
Actually, it’s a perfect time, and Obama did not specifically mention Trump or the Trump administration. Fox News deduced that all on their own. Apparently Bila and her co-hosts only heard the one part of the speech and conveniently forgot all the times Trump delivered truly nasty partisan remarks during speeches.
Then Pete Hegseth chimed in to question Obama’s articulacy.
“Time and time again, he talks like a political leftist,” Hegseth said. “These Democrat governors feel like we’re in charge, we’re the experts and Donald Trump’s got it all wrong. It’s amazing. And by the way, Barack Obama’s not all that articulate. When he reads off a teleprompter, he can be inspiring or off of a speech. But when he’s impromptu, the ums and the ahs, it’s impossible to listen to.”

Of course, it’s laughable since Trump is not articulate at all and can’t string together any coherent sentences as he slurs and stumbles through hateful remarks and lies that do nothing to inspire or unite the American people.
