Amid COVID-19 Pandemic, Trump Tries To Distract By Tweeting About Full Pardon For Michael Flynn

He's so obvious.

Donald Trump spent the “National Day of Prayer” amid the worldwide outbreak of the novel coronavirus unleashing a series of tweets to distract the public from his failure to address the pandemic and comfort a panicked country. Trump has been downplaying the chaos at airports, calling it an “interruption,” yelled at Sen. Chuck Schumer, attacked former Vice President Joe Biden, and hinted at pardoning former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators.

“So now it is reported that, after destroying his life & the life of his wonderful family (and many others also), the FBI, working in conjunction with the Justice Department, has ‘lost’ the records of General Michael Flynn. How convenient. I am strongly considering a Full Pardon!” Trump tweeted on Sunday.

Trump’s schtick has become tiresome, especially when the country needs a leader.

Flynn, 61, pleaded guilty in December 2017 for lying to investigators about his conversations with then-Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak and faces possible prison time, but Trump is now considering a “full pardon” while attacking the FBI and Department of Justice.

Trump’s approval rating has taken a beating amid the coronavirus pandemic, even with his favorite pollster, Rasmussen.

So, Trump does what Trump does best: Distract the public from his garbage heap of a presidency.  Trump’s only priority is himself. We’re waiting for the president to posthumously pardon Charles Manson next.

Trump is working very hard on Twitter. Perhaps he should relax and take a cruise.
