Ana Navarro Just Said What We’re All Thinking, Publicly Shames Mark Meadows For Defending “Typhoid Mary” Trump

Someone had to say it!

The hosts of ABC’s The View set their sights on Donald Trump’s former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and effectively fired off on him for banding together with ex-President Trump to launch a nasty attack against the media for covering information that was released by Meadows himself.

Amid a discussion on the newest COVID-19 variant, Omicron, Ana Navarro veered into the topic of Mark Meadows’ new memoir, The Chief’s Chief. As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, being that it’s created quite a bit of chattering the news cycle lately, Meadows claims in his book that then-President Trump attended his first debate with then-candidate Joe Biden, after he had knowingly tested positive for the highly contagious virus just days before — effectively putting Biden and everyone else in the room in direct danger of contracting the potentially fatal illness.

Meadows claimed that Trump tested positive for the virus, then tested negatively just shortly after the first test. But the fact of the matter is, it was mere days after the debate that then-President Trump was hospitalized with severe (even worse than we knew at the time) symptoms from COVID-19. So, to say that Meadows’ claim has raised a whole lot of questions would be the understatement of the century. And there’s absolutely no denying the fact that it certainly highlights Donald Trump’s recklessness and complete carelessness when it comes to the health and safety of those around him.

With all that being said, Trump was quick to release an “official statement” (his equivalent of a tweet these days) dubbing the claim from Meadows’ book “fake news.” But to make things even weirder, Meadows was quick to follow Trump’s lead in a subsequent interview with Newsmax, where he tried to frame the claim from his own book as a story of a false positive COVID test, rather than a President with a complete and utter disregard for any human life outside his own.

Navarro wasn’t here for ANY of it.

Labeling ex-President Trump as “Typhoid Mary,” she laid the blame for the polarization of COVID-19 and the ongoing crisis-level of the pandemic at Donald Trump’s feet, right where it belongs.

“Stop blaming Joe Biden for not doing enough, because it’s on you!” she fumed on the show. “And Mark Meadows, shame on him that he continues to defend the guy who put people in danger.”
