Trump’s tactics to somehow secure this election back in his favor and take the fair win from his opponent Joe Biden are clearly getting more and more desperate and off the wall as his court cases continue to crash and burn in front of his eyes. He seems to have shifted from relying on the courts to rule in his favor on little more than hearsay scribbled on sticky notes and has now, with the help of the allies he has left, set his sights on upending the electoral process from the inside out, according to a report from the Associated Press.
As we’re well aware, Trump’s grievances only lie in the states Biden flipped in his favor this election, which ultimately secured his win, one of which being a portion of the “Blue Wall,” the state of Michigan. In the state of Michigan, two Republican election officials in the state’s largest, most influential county have been overwhelmingly indecisive when it comes to certifying the results of the county’s votes. In the beginning, the electors refused to certify despite having no evidence of fraud or wrongdoing, then backtracked and voted to certify, only to flip once again on Wednesday and say that they “remain opposed to certification.”
Instances similar to this are happening across several states that Biden flipped in his favor this election and election officials are warning that there’s no coordinated effort across battleground states to bring this fiasco to an end, only nonsense inspired by Trump’s baseless rhetoric.
“It would be the end of democracy as we know it,” University of Kentucky law professor Joshua Douglas explained of the unprecedented effort by the Trump camp to undermine this nation’s democratic process. “This is just not a thing that can happen.”

And now, according to the report, it seems Trump has had a personal hand in igniting this discourse among election officials tasked with the important process of certifying the vote.
The report reads:
In Wayne County, the two Republican canvassers at first balked at certifying the vote, winning praise from Trump, and then reversed course after widespread condemnation. A person familiar with the matter said Trump reached out to the canvassers, Monica Palmer and William Hartmann, on Tuesday evening after the revised vote to express gratitude for their support. Then, on Wednesday, Palmer and Hartmann signed affidavits saying they believe the county vote ‘should not be certified.'”
It’s no secret that time is running out for the Trump team, as votes must be certified by the 8th of December and all his other tactics simply are not working. However, it truly makes you wonder just what lengths these people will go to in their effort to steal this election right before our eyes just for the chance to torture us all for another 4 years.
