South Carolina Senator and Senate Judiciary Committee chair Lindsey Graham is schmucking it up as we speak during the hearing regarding Inspector General Michael Horowitz’ report on his investigation into whether or not the FBI’s investigations into Donald Trump were based off a political bias against Trump and his family.
Full disclosure: they were not. While the IG’s report did uncover some technical issues in execution by the Bureau, the investigations themselves were all founded on legitimate concerns of corruption in the presidency. Plain and simple. No bias against Donald was discovered and, in fact, it was revealed that, if anything, the author of the Steele dossier (which Trump seems to believe started this whole thing to begin with) would be more inclined to leniency against the family, considering he had a friendship with Trump’s daughter, Ivanka.
But nevertheless, Graham has made sure to make a complete ass out of himself in defense of Trump throughout the course of the hearing, even resorting to blatant lies and unhinged rants so long that major news outlets are cutting him off.
That’s why one particular video that’s making the rounds all over social media today is extra ironically hilarious.

As Graham flushes what’s left of his dignity down the toilet — with a good 10 to 15 flushes, of course — video footage of Trump absolutely trashing the South Carolina senator is currently flooding social media for all our viewing pleasure.
“I think Lindsey Graham is a disgrace, and I think you have one of the worst representatives of any representative in the United States, and I don’t think he should run,” Trump declares in the 2016 video during a campaign event in front of the Senator’s own home-state constituents. “I don’t think he could run for dog catcher in this state and win again. I really don’t. Other than that, I think he’s wonderful.”
Just hours before the slam at the campaign event, Trump said of Graham in a Fox News interview that the then-Republican front-runner would make a “terrible commander in chief” going on to claim that the GOP would be “slaughtered” with Lindsey as their nominee.
“He’s one of the dumbest human beings I’ve ever seen,” Trump declared.
Graham’s campaign for the presidency was rather short-lived as he struggled to gain any footing in the race.
“He ends up at zero [percent]. Zero,” Donald stated. “Here’s a guy running for the presidency — he’s at zero. He leaves in disgrace, in my opinion.”
“I saw him on television this morning, and I think he lost it. He said ‘Donald Trump, he’s’ — he couldn’t even talk,” he continued to disparage the Senator. “He was shaking. The hatred. They say, ‘What do you think of Donald Trump? Well, waahhh.’ He went crazy. The guy is a nut job.”
Honestly, I can only hope that Graham gets an eyeful of this gem when he finishes making a complete asswipe out of himself for nothing more than Trump’s personal benefit. He’ll be wishing he’d stuck to his own talking points against Trump from back then.
