As Trump Rushes To Reopen The Economy, His Old Tweet About “Ebola Quarantines” During Obama Administration Comes Back To Bite Him In The Arse

The saying is true. There really is ALWAYS a tweet.

We live in a day and age now where the president of our nation is quite literally known ’round the world for his petulant, childish, immature social media habits.

His fellow world leaders snicker about his immaturity, the people of this nation make memes and jokes at the expense of his Twitter habits, and over the course of his presidency, multiple reports have indicated that even his closest cabinet members, family members, and friends have futilely attempted to reign in his Twitter thumbs.

It’s such a “thing,” in fact, that there’s a saying of sorts that’s caught on with Twitter users and Americans from coast to coast — “There’s always a tweet.”

That basically means Trump’s Twitter habits are so terrible that for every tweet he makes now there’s always some post he made, whether it be a few months ago or a few years ago (sometimes even pre-presidency), that will come around and bite him right in his condescending ass with the jagged teeth of irony.

Honestly, it’s a solid theory, because it almost never fails.

And this whole coronavirus ordeal that he’s effectively botched at every turn is certainly no exception to the “there’s always a tweet” rule.

As we’re all painfully aware, Trump is quite a big hurry to get the country opened back up to business as usual and get his economy pumped back up before he has literally nothing to run his re-election campaign on — despite the fact that multiple professionals and entities have issued numerous warnings about how unsafe his plan truly is.

And lo and behold, there’s a tweet.

It seems that when Ebola was a thing back in the Obama administration, Trump wasn’t nearly as pumped about the country re-opening as soon as possible. In fact, he was super mad about it.

Considering the man is now all but threatening governors to reopen their states on his rushed timeline, I’d venture to say his butt is pretty sore from the bite that particular tweet just landed.

It really is true, folks. There is always a tweet.
