Last March, 64-year-old Mark Schultz hosted the president’s eldest son and namesake, Donald Trump Jr., at his bar in Wisconsin for an Axios interview. At the time, Schultz prided himself on keeping his establishment, Oblio’s, free from the strain of left or right politics.

However, now that he’s found himself deathly ill in the Intensive Care Unit with the very virus that Donald Trump still refuses to take seriously, even after his own diagnosis just a little over a week ago, Schultz has changed his tune when it comes to politics in the United States.

Speaking with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on the phone, between coughs and gasps for air, Schutlz said, “I don’t worry much about me, but I got a 10-year-old son and my fiancée — that’s all I care about. My family is all at home. They are all worried about me. I don’t want them to worry about me… I don’t want them to go through this. I hope I get to go home.”

The bar owner went on to touch on his current feeling towards Donald Trump and had this to say, “I just want to punch him. I always had to keep my politics to myself, but from where I’m sitting now? Those days are over. I shouldn’t be here.”

Schultz said that the President should have been far more transparent, forthcoming, and honest with the American people about the virus that has now claimed nearly 215,000 lives in this country, with a rising death toll with each passing moment. He recalls starting to feel sick the same day that Trump was admitted to Walter Reed, and said that Donald’s flippant attitude towards this deadly illness was quickly wearing thin on him.

“I’m just frustrated with the president — the non-chalantness of this virus,” Schultz explained. “They should be afraid. It’s nothing to mess with… I just can’t sleep. If you can’t breathe, you can’t sleep.

Since his change of heart towards the President, Schultz has been keeping a video diary on YouTube, “Ramblings of a pissed off Armenian,” which you can watch here:
