The protests and riots surrounding the White House in Washington D.C. have been going strong for days and days now. Frankly, people from all across the country are absolutely fed up with Donald Trump and his administration’s shit, and they’re camping out in his front yard to let him know about it.
As a result of Trump finally finding out that the American people are far more powerfully opposed to him than he ever wanted to believe, Donnie behaved exactly like the scared little boy that he is, shut off all the lights, and retreated to the underground bunker of the White House to ride out the protests Hitler-style.
Naturally, the entire world didn’t waste any time when it came to brutally mocking Trump for acting like a fallen dictator during a time of crisis in this nation — complete with trending hashtags like “Bunker President” for days.
Of course, Donald did his best to do damage control for his reputation in the midst of the complete and utter humiliation he was no doubt experiencing by bringing down the force of the National Guard on protesters in Lafayette Square so he could take a stroll across the street and then denying the whole bunker narrative entirely.

In an interview on the heels of the bunker fiasco, Trump attempted to claim that he didn’t head downstairs in the White House because of the protesters, but instead because they told him it was time for the underground bunker to be inspected.
“I was down during the day and I was there for a tiny, little short period of time. And it was much more for an inspection. There was no problem during the day,” Trump tried to claim.
However, in trying to defend the actions this administration has taken against peaceful protesters recently, Trump’s Attorney General Bill Barr made a big ole oopsie.
During an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier, Attorney General William Barr seemed to ruin Donald’s excuse with a big, fat contradiction when he stated that Trump was in the White House bunker out of true concern for his safety.
“Things were so bad, the Secret Service recommended the president go down to the bunker,” Barr explained. “We can’t have that in our country.”
Baier: If you had to do Monday over again, would you do something different?
