Donald Trump recently sat down for an interview with Axios and while he wants us to believe that he’s the smartest man to ever live, behind the scenes footage that was released today proves that this one was just as big a dumpster fire as all the rest of them typically are when Donald was seen rambling on about nonsense, proving that he actually knows absolutely nothing about anything.
The Axios interviewers kicked things off by questioning Donald over what’s currently taking place on social media and asked whether or not Donald has put any thought into how large platforms such as Facebook and Amazon should be regulated.
It only took a moment after Trump opened his mouth to realize just how foolish and ignorant the man really is.
“You look at the European Union, they fined, I guess it was Google, billions of dollars. And frankly, I don’t like that they’re doing that. Because that’s an American company. I don’t think it’s good that they’re doing that. But if anybody does that, that should be us doing it. That shouldn’t be the European Union,” Trump said as he took off on his nonsensical rant.

“You know you get into the whole thing with freedom of speech and what do you think,” Trump continued after the interviewers attempted to clarify.
“What about monopoly? What about saying to the Justice Department ‘look into that’?” one Axios reporter interjected, trying to get Donald back on track.
“Well, you do! You know, I have so many people saying that. But it’s certainly something that we have looked at,” Trump replied.
“Would you ever break them up?” Trump was questioned.
“They were talking about this years ago. You know? They were actually talking about this same subject, monopoly, years ago. Before I was in office.”
Trump’s entire interview with the news publication carried on in this manner, obviously confusing the reporters as they tried to keep the president on track, to no avail.
While it’s certainly not surprising at this point, it’s still baffling with each and every one of these trainwreck interviews, how in the world this man managed to continue to run our country.
