Biden White House Just Responded To Trump’s Announcement About His “Envoy Ambassador” Conducting Foreign Policy, The Ex-President Is Going To Be Furious

That's got to hurt.

Earlier today, former President Donald Trump released an utterly bonkers statement, making us wonder if the former guy thinks he is still the president. The twice-impeached one-term president claimed that he has an “Envoy Ambassador” who traveled to the Kosovo-Serbia border to “highlight” an “important agreement” that his “administration brokered.”

The so-called Ambassador is Richard Grenell, the former president’s ambassador to Germany, who no longer has a job with the government. One month before losing the election to Joe Biden, Trump named Grenell as a special envoy for peace negotiations between Serbia and Kosovo. So, it appears that Trump and Grenell are violating the Logan Act.

Biden’s White House responded to the crazy-time statement saying, “Outside of his very active imagination, Donald Trump is no longer President and doesn’t have any ‘envoy ambassadors’ representing the United States.”

Twitter users piled in:

Grenell should let the former guy know this.

It gets weirder.

The Logan Act is a federal law that criminalizes negotiations by unauthorized American citizens with foreign governments. Not that laws mean anything to Donald Trump. He didn’t have an administration. Trump had a crime family. The former president is like the clingy guy in the 5th grade that just won’t leave you alone.
