Bill Barr Is Pissing In Trump’s Cheerios On His Way Out The Door, Smacks Down Calls To Appoint Special Counsel To Investigate Election: “I’m Not Going To”

Trump is going to lose it.

In the days since his landslide loss in the 2020 presidential race, Donald Trump has lost his support in a somewhat slow, but certainly steady trickle. Even some of the staunchest of Trump sycophants have seen themselves out of the proverbial door that is MAGA support. Among those to fly the coop recently was none other than Trump’s personal DOJ jockey, now-outgoing Attorney General Bill Barr.

In the months leading up to the election, Trump seemed to be hinting at his displeasure with his handpicked AG. However, Barr’s reluctance to buy into Trump’s scheme to essentially steal this election out from under the rightful winner, Joe Biden, has seemingly been the icing on the cake when it comes to Donald’s distrust of Bill Barr. It was Bill Barr that admitted to the fact that there simply wasn’t this influx of voter fraud surrounding the election that Donald Trump and his people keep touting, and it’s been a downhill slide ever since — with Barr ultimately submitting his “resignation” as Attorney General of the United States. A move that pretty much no one believes was an actual, willing resignation, but rather a scheme by Trump to push him out, as he typically does with all who dare scorn him.

But it seems that, even in his last days as head of the Department of Justice, Barr isn’t quite finished getting his jabs in at Donald Trump.

Today, the outgoing Attorney General held a press conference, during which he addressed the reports that Trump has been floating the idea of a special counsel to investigate his completely unfounded claims of mass voter fraud across the nation. During the presser, Barr didn’t waste any time in noting that such an appointment simply isn’t going to happen, as it’s not the “right tool” at “this stage.”

Barr did say that there is some fraud in “most elections” but stood firmly behind his earlier assertion that there simply was not enough significant fraud in the 2020 presidential election to overturn the results in any way.

A reporter at the presser asked the outgoing AG to clarify his position on the appointment of a special counsel to investigate these baseless claims and whether or not there is even enough evidence to warrant the move, to which Barr replied, “If I thought a special counsel at this stage was the right tool and was appropriate, I would name one, and I haven’t, and I’m not going to.”

It seems that Bill Barr is done playing Donald Trump’s jockey. And though it’s a bit too little too late, I suppose it’s never truly too late to do the right thing. And besides, what is Trump going to do about it anyway? Fire him?
