Bill O’Reilly Apparently Threatening A Lawsuit Over Report That His Tour With Trump Isn’t Selling Out: “I’ll Sue Your A** Off”

Ooooookay.

Earlier today, we covered new reports saying that ex-president Donald Trump and former Fox News talking head turned Conservative pundit Bill O’Reilly are struggling to unload tickets to their big upcoming rally tour. Now, according to additional reporting coming out from POLITICO, the former Fox host is so angered over the reports that his rally tour isn’t kicking off well that he’s threatening to sue.

Trump and O’Reilly made the announcement last month that they are joining forces for something they’ve dubbed “The History Tour” that’s slated to feature interviews that “provide a never-before-heard inside view of his administration — which will be historical in and of itself.” The former president promised that the interviews would be “hard-hitting sessions” but would also be full of “fun, fun, fun, for everyone who attends.”

The big tour is set to kick off in four cities between Florida and Texas and tickets to the event have been on sale, at a price point ranging between $100 to $300, for about a month now and the “iconic” duo is also selling a “VIP Meet and Greet Package” that includes a 45-minute reception ahead of the show and backstage photos with the pair, all of which will set you back a hearty $8500.

However, despite both the men peddling the tour hard, it seems that their ticket sales have been a pretty big bust.

But they don’t want you talking about that.

Both Trump and O’Reilly have disputed the POLITICO report regarding the lack of ticket sales. Trump’s new spokesperson said, “The History Tour has already sold over $5 million of tickets, and the excitement and enthusiasm is unlike anything we’ve seen before. Come December, the sold out shows will be a memorable night for all.”

But ole Bill was a bit more ragey in his response.

The former Fox host called the reports “false” and “totally ridiculous,” and claimed that ticket sales have already raked in a staggering $7 million, which is even higher than the Trump camp tried to claim.

“We haven’t spent a nickel on marketing, nothing,” Bill fumed. “All those 7 million for four shows were done on the announcement. Marketing will start in about a week. Nobody has sold tickets this fast at this price, and VIPs are sold out at 3 of the 4 venues.”

O’Reilly tried to claim that the Sunrise event is nearly 75 percent sold out and said it was “bullshit” that Orlando sales have been sluggish, but went on to admit that he had no idea how many tickets had actually been sold.

However, Mediaite proved one hell of a point with a simple TicketMaster search:

But, as is customary with the Right, facts don’t matter to Bill O’Reilly, nor do they stop him from threatening to sue.

“You put one word in there that’s not true, I’ll sue your ass off and you can quote me on that,” the Conservative talking head told POLITICO reporter Daniel Lippman regarding the article. “You’re just a hatchet man and that’s what you are.”
