Body Language Expert Claims Trump Doesn’t Hold Melania’s Hand Because He Wants To Be Seen As An “Alpha Male And Leader”

A real man would hold his wife's hand.

Donald and Melania Trump do not hold hands. And the reason why is pathetic and only makes Donald look weak.

We’ve all witnessed the great affection and love former President Barack Obama often showed his wife in public during his eight years in office. Whenever they were together, they usually held hands at some point.

Over the last three and a half years, we’ve been treated to a cold relationship between the current President and First Lady. They rarely, if ever, hold hands. We’ve even seen Melania slap Trump’s hand away and vice versa. Mostly, it’s Donald who refuses to hold hands. But why?

According to Marie Claire

Despite being married to the Slovenian former model for 15 years, Trump can be seen gently patting his wife’s outstretched hand away on various occasions.

According to a body language expert, this behaviour is incredibly telling of their relationship and could all be down to one very simple reason: Donald’s want to be seen as an alpha male and leader.”

That’s right. Trump apparently thinks holding Melania’s hand is a sign of weakness and would make him look less manly.

“Typically a hand-hold shows a couple as a unit,” body language expert Patti Wood said. “But to me, I think he’s saying ‘I want to be seen as the president on my own. I want to be just the powerful me.’ And it’s clear that that’s his choice.”

“He doesn’t want to do it in public,” Wood continued. “It’s very clear that she does, she would like that. That would make her feel connected and she would get some of that power and confidence, and he’s saying ‘No, not in public.’”

That’s okay — Melania made Donald her b*tch when she forced him to renegotiate their prenuptial agreement in exchange for her moving into the White House back in 2017. No amount of slapping her hand away is going to help him look manly. It does, however, make him look like a complete tool.
