Boolickin' Ted Cruz Goes On Tucker Carlson's Show, Backpedals Over His "Sloppy" Comments About Jan. 6th

Texas Senator Ted Cruz sinned in Fox News’s Tucker Carlson’s beady little eyes for facing reality about the deadly January 6 insurrection last year. Tucker, who has downplayed the riot; well, actually, he rewrote the entire day’s deadly events, went after Cruz for calling it a “terrorist attack.”

“We are approaching a solemn anniversary this week,” Cruz said during a Senate hearing on Wednesday. “It is an anniversary of a violent terrorist attack on the Capitol where we saw the men and women of law enforcement demonstrate incredible courage, incredible bravery, risk their lives to defend the men and women who serve in this Capitol.”

Well, that was too much for Carlson to handle, and like a snowflake, he melted down. So, naturally, Cruz asked to be on Tucker’s show so that they could make up.

“The way I phrased things yesterday, it was sloppy, and it was frankly dumb,” Cruz said, then Carlson cut him off to say that he didn’t believe him. Cruz then somehow said he wasn’t talking about the “patriots across the country supporting President Trump,” but only the individuals who assaulted police officers. And that’s kind of weird since Trump supporters assaulted police officers on January 6, 2021. And they did that because the election results hurt their feelings. Still, Cruz said he referred to the “limited number of people” who assaulted police officers.

Last year, on January 6, 2021, a violent armed mob of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol building in Washington D.C., with many attacking police officers on the way inside to stop the 2020 election results from being certified in favor of President Joe Biden. Tucker can rewrite that all he wants, but that is what happened. After Trump was elected, we were blasted for protesting with our pink hats on, then four years later, Trump supporters completely lost it after their guy lost the election. Trump supporters wanted to install the loser of the election against the will of the American people and at the twice-impeached one-term president’s direction.
