Breathtaking Audio Recording Shows Brave Airline Passenger With No Experience Making An Incredible Emergency Landing After Pilot Became “Incoherent”

This is absolutely incredible!

It’s safe to say the world is in a troubled spot right now. Vladimir Putin’s heinous war against Ukraine continues to rage every day, women and child-bearing humans are facing down the very real possibility of having their basic rights and privacy ripped away from them, inflation is rising to a catastrophic level for Americans across the nation who were already barely making ends meet as it were, and the COVID-19 pandemic still isn’t what we would call “under control.”

But even with all the bad we’re suffering through currently, “miracles” do still happen.

CNN aviation correspondent Pete Muntean described it as something out of a movie — and we could not agree more.

New audio recordings have now been released that show one airline passenger on a flight from the Bahamas this week was able to successfully complete an emergency landing of the private plane he was on when the pilot of the aircraft suddenly became incapacitated — without an ounce of experience ever flying or landing a plane.

It seems the situation turned drastic when the flight’s pilot began complaining of a headache, only to suddenly lose consciousness. The unidentified airline passenger immediately began calling for help.

In the audio clip of the incident obtained by CNN, the passenger can be heard saying, “I’ve got a serious situation here. My pilot has gone incoherent, and I have no idea how to fly the airplane.”

Back on the ground, air traffic controller Robert Morgan answered the passenger’s call, and while Morgan does have experience flying planes, he had no personal experience with this particular aircraft, a single-engine Cessna 208. But nevertheless, Morgan was able to pull up a photo of the plane’s instrument panel and walk the brave passenger through the steps it would take to successfully and safely land the plane.

The aircraft’s touch down, with the inexperienced passenger behind the “wheel”, was actually textbook perfect in footage from the Palm Beach International Airport. Watching the video without context, you’d never have known that the plane wasn’t manned by a seasoned veteran pilot, but rather an inexperienced, brave passenger doing all they could to get the plane back on land safely.

Morgan made an appearance on CNN’s New Day following the incident and did not hesitate to give all the credit for the plane’s safe emergency landing to the brave passenger.

“He was really calm,” Morgan explained. “He said, ‘Hey, I just don’t know how to fly. I don’t know how to stop this thing if I do get it on the runway.’ I said, ‘Don’t worry about it, we’ll take it one step at a time.'”

He went on to describe the relief he felt when the plane finally touched down safely.

“I felt like I was going to cry then because I had so much adrenaline built up,” Morgan said. “But I was really happy it worked out, nobody got hurt.”
