Chief Justice John Roberts Has Just Been Accused Of Kavanaugh “Cover Up,” Hid Numerous Misconduct Complaints

This is just absolutely insane.

Brett Kavanaugh was pretty much just confirmed into the Supreme Court thanks to all the rape apologists in the Republican Party, and already a bombshell has dropped that proves Kavanaugh probably doesn’t deserve his seat (as if his ridiculous hearing performance wasn’t enough).

It turns out that United States Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts has been sitting on over a dozen judicial misconduct complaints against Kavanaugh, preventing them from being investigated.

These complaints had been forwarded to Roberts by District Judge Karen LeCraft Henderson, who felt the reports needed to be investigated further. She had given them to Roberts because she didn’t think that Kavanaugh’s fellow D.C. judges should be able to assess the serious issues raised against him. Henderson said:

The complaints do not pertain to any conduct in which Judge Kavanaugh engaged as a judge. The complaints seek investigations only of the public statements he has made as a nominee to the Supreme Court of the United States.”

Of course, Roberts did nothing with the complaints, and now he is being accused of covering things up for Kavanaugh. The Washington Post pointed out the severity of this situation:

The situation is highly unusual, legal experts and several people familiar with the matter said. Never before has a Supreme Court nominee been poised to join the court while a fellow judge recommends that a series of misconduct claims against that nominee warrant review.”

Interestingly enough, it was then-President George W. Bush who had appointed Roberts, and stated in his memoir that Kavanaugh influenced him to nominate Roberts to the Supreme Court.

As if the Republican Party couldn’t look any worse, public policy advocate at the Center for Economic and Policy Research Jeff Hauser has weighed in and said:

Our system of judicial ethics demands that judges act on behalf of their institution rather than their party. Judge Karen Henderson, who was both a Reagan and George H.W. Bush appointee, seems to have overcome her partisan ties and recognized the seriousness of claims against Kavanaugh. It is alarming that Roberts cannot match Henderson’s integrity.”
