About time someone reminded him to his face.

There are currently two types of Republicans in America, vocal sycophants of Donald J. Trump and those who choose to say and do nothing. Last night the king of sycophants, Ted Cruz, had a one-on-one with Chris Cuomo on CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time. The conversation started with putting ole Ted on the defensive, trying to come up with excuses for why Trump didn’t outright condemn white supremacy.

In short order the most useless senator in America attempted to change the subject to the coronavirus, using the Trumpian narrative that New York did poorly when it came to the pandemic presumably to get under Cuomo’s skin. But Ted officially crossed the line with the CNN host when he tried to shift the blame directly on his brother, Governor Andrew Cuomo, earning himself a scathing reminder about Trump’s comments on Cruz’s wife

“It all troubles me Ted, to watch guys like you stand by and stroke your beard like a wise man, instead of telling the president to get on it when you have power,” Cuomo said. Ted then went on to try to shift the blame directly to Governer Andrew Cuomo which invoked the host’s wrath, earning him a scathing reminder.

“My brother will stand for his own record. Why don’t you talk to the president like you talk to my brother?” Cuomo touted. “You afraid of him? You think he’ll smack you down at home?”

“My brother’s not the president. I’m talking about the president,” Cuomo said. “The one who called you a liar, the one who said your wife was ugly! That guy. The one you won’t say anything about.”

Cruz, hit with this stark reminder straight to his face, nervously chuckled and still didn’t have the guts to defend himself or his wife, showing once and for all that his loyalty lies solely with the president.
