Claudia Conway Went On Twitter And Claimed “My Parents, Particularly My Mother, Are Trying To Silence Me”

This is like a 2020 soap opera.

Things appear to be getting awkward at the home of Kellyanne Conway — Donald Trump’s top adviser — and George Conway, the co-founder of the “Lincoln Project,” after their teenage daughter, Claudia, was revealed to be an anti-Trump TikToker that strongly supports the Black Lives Matter movement. The family is peculiar as it is with Kellyanne being part of Trump’s awful administration, and George fighting tooth and nail to keep the president from being re-elected. Now their daughter is dropping tidbits of information on her parents’ marriage.

On Friday, Claudia dropped a bomb on Twitter, saying to her father, “Sorry your marriage failed” after her dad tweeted a message to the media, telling them they do not have consent to speak with any of their minor children. George Conway made a point of mentioning Claudia in his tweet since she’s been elevated on social media recently. She’s only fifteen years old, after all.

First, she tweeted to both of her parents after they apparently shut her phone off.

She then tweeted that her parents want her to delete her social media accounts. At some point later, she deleted this tweet:

Here’s an idea.

It must be difficult growing up in such a high-profile political family, and raising children during today’s political climate can’t be easy either. But, if the Conways marriage is falling apart, it’s sensitive and private information for a child to tweet about her parents. No, I don’t feel sorry for Kellyanne, but this isn’t good for the kid either. And there’s nothing funny about a failed marriage. The Conways have four children, and their lives will be affected if their parents end up getting divorced. Divorce is a pretty private topic.

At any rate, Claudia is a powerful voice on social media — especially for younger people — amid such chaos and despair, so maybe she should stick to ripping on Donald Trump, instead. Her parents do seem to support her no matter what her political opinions are.
