Most Americans — even supporters of Donald Trump — know that the president is in deep sh*t. Regardless of what news network you turn on, even Fox News is now reporting on the president’s many scandals and crimes, making the truth inescapable for even the most die-hard Trump fans. And today CNN made it even harder for Trump voters to live in denial.

This morning, CNN gave everyone a brutal reality check when the network aired a stunning graphic that showed just how many investigations the president was involved in — and seeing a visual representation of all of this was extremely concerning. Among the investigations mentioned were: the Trump campaign, the Trump Transition, the Trump inauguration, the Trump administration, the Trump Foundation, and the Trump Organization.

The creation of this graphic follows a tweet that former Nixon White House counsel John Dean had posted yesterday, where he listed Trump’s many investigations and said that the president’s scandals were “much more damning than Watergate,” and “just getting started.”

During CNN’s segment, hosts spoke with former chief ethics attorney for President George W. Bush, Richard Painter, who backed up the severity of what was on the graphic and said:

The president has serious exposure to criminal liability on several fronts. They could very well send him to prison for a very long time if he does not work this out.”

Painter is far from alone, and that criticism is only going to get louder as more people become aware of what Trump is really up against.
