According to CNN, outgoing President Donald Trump reportedly wants to leave Washington, DC, before President-elect Joe Biden is inaugurated on January 20th. Unsurprisingly, due to Trump’s massive but fragile ego, the former reality show star doesn’t want to ask Biden for permission to use Air Force One as he departs from the White House.
On the morning of Biden’s inauguration, Trump reportedly plans to move to his Florida resort, Mar-a-Lago. Trump will be taking a few aides with him.
Meanwhile, the state department confirmed that Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, will be staying at the Blair House on the eve of the President-elect’s inauguration.
The House of Representatives voted 232-197 — with ten Republicans joining Democrats — to impeach the president over his role in inciting the riot at the Capitol, making Trump the first president in U.S. history to be impeached twice.

That has gotten to Trump, as CNN reports, as the outgoing president has banned the use of former president Richard Nixon’s name in his presence.
Even though Biden attended Trump’s inauguration, the outgoing president said on Twitter before he was permanently banned from the behemoth social site that he would not be attending Biden’s.
At this point, Trump has not decided on whether he will pen a letter to Biden to leave in the Oval Office, something that is a traditional gesture. Some of his advisers, according to the outlet, have advised him to continue with the tradition.
‘Early in his presidency, Trump liked to show off to visitors the letter he received from President Barack Obama, which included the now-prescient line: “Regardless of the push and pull of daily politics, it’s up to us to leave those instruments of our democracy at least as strong as we found them,”’ CNN reports.
Trump is hoping for a big send-off.
“Final plans for Trump’s departure were still being laid a week ahead of time, but Trump has expressed interest to some in a military-style sendoff and a crowd of supporters, according to a person with whom he has discussed the matter. Whether that occurs at the White House, Joint Base Andrews or his final destination — Palm Beach International Airport — wasn’t clear,” CNN reports. “Trump is expected to be ensconced in his Mar-a-Lago club or his nearby golf course by noon on Inauguration Day when his term officially ends.”
And Obama attended Trump’s inauguration even though the former reality TV show star berated him for years to delegitimize our country’s first Black president. Trump has spent the last couple of months now trying to delegitimize Biden’s victory. With a narcissist, every accusation is a confession.
