Earlier this week, we reported on the bombshell closing statement we saw from House Select Committee Vice-Chair Liz Cheney. Cheney was closing out the Committee’s positively explosive surprise public hearing, where we heard brutally damning testimony from surprise witness, former White House aide to Mark Meadows, Cassidy Hutchinson.

In her closing statement, the panel’s vice-chair revealed that they have received a slew of evidence, indicating that Donald Trump’s inner circle has been participating in witness tampering practices. Cheney went so far as to read off and/or display several examples of an unknown Trump insider’s attempts to persuade various January 6th witnesses from delivering their full, proper, and truthful testimony.

While Cheney raised the issue of the alleged witness tampering, the identity of the Trump insiders behind these practices was not revealed during the hearing. However, CNN is now out with a brutal bombshell report that exposes the identity of one of the close Trump allies who reportedly attempted to “influence” the testimony of Cassidy Hutchinson, and it’s even worse than we thought.

Zachary Cohen, Ryan Nobles, and Annie Grayer report for CNN, “Republican Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, the vice chairwoman of the committee, brought up two examples of possible witness intimidation at a hearing featuring Hutchinson, who was an aide to Meadows in the Trump White House, earlier this week, without naming a witness or who made contact. Sources now tell CNN that both instances recounted by Cheney were directed at Hutchinson, and that Hutchinson believes the messages were intended to impact her testimony.”

“In one instance, Cheney said a witness received a call in which someone said: ‘(A person) let me know you have your deposition tomorrow. He wants me to let you know that he’s thinking about you. He knows you’re loyal, and you’re going to do the right thing when you go in for your deposition,'” the report read.

CNN’s report notes that Meadows’ team has vehemently denied the existence of any such practices, with Meadows’ spokesperson Ben Williamson saying, “No one from Meadows camp, himself or otherwise, ever sought to intimidate or shape her conversations with the committee.”

The former Trump chief of staff has already found himself at the center of scrutiny from many a legal expert, who have theorized that Meadows will soon face down serious liability regarding his actions in connection to the 2020 election.
