Kamala Harris, the vice-presidential nominee for the Democratic party, will be gracing Elle magazine’s cover in early November, and she looks amazing. Harris had some inspiring words during this seemingly hopeless time for the magazine’s readers. “That the measure of you is so much bigger than you; it’s the impact you have, it’s what you do in service to others,” she said. “And that’s how I was raised. I was raised that it is not about charity and benevolence, it’s about your duty. No one’s going to congratulate you for it — it’s what you’re supposed to do.”
“At this moment in time, it is so critically important in our country for all people to be seen in their full selves, in a way that gives them the dignity they deserve,” she added.

As November 3rd looms, vice presidential nominee @KamalaHarris is urging Americans to feel hopeful. “Optimism is the fuel driving every fight I’ve been in,” she tells @iSmashFizzle in ELLE’s November cover story. https://t.co/sVgody0D2T pic.twitter.com/W6ezIjv55F

Harris, 55, is the first Black woman and the first person of Indian descent to be nominated for national office by a major party. Yet, somehow, Trump supporters can’t understand why Melania Trump isn’t on the cover. Most of the comments, though, applauded the magazine for choosing Kamala.
Gorgeous, brilliant, inspiring. GO, Kamala!!

This Trumper called Kamala a whore, apparently completely unaware that we’ve all seen photos of Melania’s ta-tas and whatnot.
Elle just set women back a 100 years by featuring a hoe on the cover. I could understand if this was a Playboy magazine. But—Come on Elle. The hoe must go! https://t.co/yRXC7azLES

When people tell you the media is not biased, call BS. When I saw Kamala Harris on the cover of Elle, I immediately thought of how they’re ignoring Melania! She’s a gorgeous former model. An immigrant. Our First Lady. And yet not one cover story in a major magazine. Disgraceful.

Sad day for America…The beautiful Melania, has she ever been on the cover of Elle?
— Linda Lewis (@Lindalewis2022) October 6, 2020
Melania hasn’t been an inspirational voice during her time as the first lady, especially amid the national crises. Her hypocritical ‘Be Best’ campaign was laughable at best as she’s married to the biggest bully in the U.S. Anyway, she’s likely moving out in January, so there’s that, too.
