Over the years, we’ve talked about the “Trump Stink” — a sort of “scar” on the reputations of individuals who worked for or were somehow associated with disgraced ex-president Donald Trump and his administration. This “stink” has prevented people from getting jobs, cost them their social status, and turned them into pariahs in their communities. More than a few times, it’s even gone so far as to result in public shamings.

Former Trump lawyer Alan Dershowitz found this out the hard way recently after he was publicly confronted and shamed at the elite Martha’s Vineyard over his ties to Donald Trump and his administration — by none other than renowned actor and comedian, Larry David.

Page Six first reported on the incident after one of their journalists apparently got to witness the confrontation between the two on the porch of the elitist island’s picture-perfect convenience store and community hub, Chilmark General Store. The publication reports that the incident was so strange they “wrote it down to remember it.”

The outlet reports that the conversation between the former Trump attorney and the American “Curb Your Enthusiasm” comedian went like this:

Dershowitz: “We can still talk, Larry.”

David: “No. No. We really can’t. I saw you. I saw you with your arm around [former Trump Secretary of State Mike] Pompeo! It’s disgusting!”

Dersh: “He’s my former student [at Harvard Law]. I greet all of my former students that way. I can’t greet my former students?”

David: “It’s disgusting. Your whole enclave — it’s disgusting. You’re disgusting!”

The source says, “Larry walks away. Alan takes off his T-shirt to reveal another T-shirt [underneath it] that says, ‘It’s The Constitution Stupid!’.”

Page Six cites a source claiming Dershowitz “drove off in an old, dirty Volvo.”

The former Trump attorney reportedly confirmed the exchange between himself and the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actor when reached for comment on the matter, noting that he and Larry David had been friends for years and years until Alan went to work for the Trump campaign.

Dershowitz claimed that he had greeted the comedian in the store, only to be ignored, which prompted him saying “We can still talk, Larry.”

The Trump-friendly attorney reportedly said the encounter “wasn’t funny at all.”

Dershowitz, a Harvard Law professor, said the comedian “screamed” and “yelled” at him and that David’s face was turning bright red. “I was worried that he was going to have a stroke,” Alan reportedly stated.
