Earlier this week, a Denver gunman opened fire in a series of shootings that claimed the lives of 5 people. And now it turns out that the shooter may have been a supporter of the ex-president, Donald Trump.

Are you surprised?

New reporting from the Daily Mail, in combination with a series of uncovered tweets, appear to show that 47-year-old Lyndon James Mcleod, who died in connection to his deadly rampage, once sent out a tweet in which he stressed the importance of loyalty in the “maternal line” of former President Donald Trump.

Reports have already indicated that Mcleod had a history of very extremist views, as well as psychiatric episodes. To make matters that much worse, police have already revealed that the suspected shooter had “been on the radar” and it appears Lyndon specifically targeted at least 3 of his shooting victims.

Back in May of 2020, Mcleod responded to a video from MSNBC that showed rapper 50 Cent saying that then-President Donald Trump should pardon his advisor Roger Stone because “if that’s his people he should look out for them.”

Tweeting the video with a caption full of his own thoughts, Mcleod wrote, “Gangsters, Mafioso & tribal folks (Trump’s maternal line is Scot: MacLeod) value loyalty as an ethical marker. We see loyalty as a prerequisite for an honorable life. Squares (English/Yankees) worry about abstract ‘consistency’ & ‘rule of law.’ But we value our people over all.”

At first glance, it’s clear that the name on the Twitter account does not match the name of the shooter that was released by law enforcement and media outlets. However, Nexstar Media reports that Lyndon penned and published a series of books titled “Sanction” — all under the penname of Roman McClay. The same Roman McClay he went by on the Twitter account in which he praised Donald Trump’s mother’s bloodline.

The report from the Daily Mail notes that the Roman McClay used by Mcleod appears to have been dormant since June of 2020. However, Heavy.com writes that the suspected shooter had an additional account that he used under the name “Jack Three,” and appeared to use the account to regularly express his obsession with genetics.

Last June, Mcleod allegedly penned on the Jack Three account, “Moar journalism: Americans don’t understand their own history. Northern yankee fux are genetically different from southern rednecks. We are nothing alike.”

In an Instagram post, the shooter identified himself as “96% Norse-Scot” and “4% Neanderthal.”

Is it about time we admit to what Donald Trump and the Right’s extremist views are causing?
