Just recently, we reported on a new revelation from New York Times senior political correspondent Maggie Haberman, who also serves as a CNN contributor, noting that the Trump family was feeling “some anxiety” here lately, in connection to the January 6th public hearings that have rocked the nation over the last several days.
According to Haberman, that anxiety stemmed from new footage that was recently acquired by the January 6th House Select Committee — after they subpoenaed evidence and testimony from Alex Holder, a documentary filmmaker who was filming and producing a documentary for Discovery+ on Donald Trump, his family, and his closest inner circle around the time of the Capitol insurrection. This newly acquired footage seemed to prove that Donald Trump’s oldest daughter Ivanka made contradictory statements in her own testimony to the House Committee when she asserted to the Panel that she respected her father’s former Attorney General, Bill Barr’s, DOJ conclusion that there was not, in fact, any widespread voter fraud involved in the 2020 presidential election, only to allegedly tell Holder in an interview for the documentary that her father “should keep fighting, that he should exhaust every legal remedy.”
Now, it seems that Trump family anxiety is certainly well-placed, as Holder sat down for an interview with CNN’s Don Lemon today, following his meeting with the House Select Committee, and seemingly suggested that the January 6th Panel has set their sights on Ivanka Trump’s apparently blatant contradictions in her statements.
“Were they focused on possible inconsistencies from Ivanka Trump?” Lemon asked the filmmaker.

“I think so, yes,” Holder answered.
The CNN host pressed for more info, asking, “How so?”
“They wanted to understand exactly when that particular interview took place and how it came about, and I think they — well, I think quite a few people think there’s some sort of inconsistency between what she said to the committee and what she said to me,” Holder explained.
It seems pretty crystal clear to me that the House Committee is onto Ivanka Trump’s antics.
