Donald Trump took to Twitter on Monday morning to announce in all-caps that a COVID-19 vaccine is coming soon that’s 90% effective. And while that is true, the company, Pfizer, did not work with Operation Warp Speed. Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla told Dr. Sanjay Gupta, “The vaccine will be available for free to all American citizens,” so that is good news for a change. President-elect Joe Biden’s team has already announced the group of public health experts that will make up his coronavirus advisory board.
As Biden springs into action to take on the pandemic, Donald Trump Jr. suggested that the pharma company timed its announcement to damage his father.
“The timing of this is pretty amazing,” he tweeted. “Nothing nefarious about the timing of this at all right?”
The timing of this is pretty amazing. Nothing nefarious about the timing of this at all right? 🙄 https://t.co/nS5rkywKXT

Twitter users pounced.
As someone who was part of the Pfizer vaccine study (phase 3), that’s been their timeline all along. Results by late October, then pushed back to early/mid November.
Trying to politicize this is both sad and disgusting. But I guess that’s par for the course for Trump’s spawn.

This is why Junior is so mad. It was never about helping people – it was always about having a shiny win to use politically.
It backfired.

The vaccine that shows promise is the one that completely avoided your Dad’s influence. Perfect

Imagine the amount of deaths that could have been prevented had Donald Trump not downplayed it right.

Hey, is your GF still doing $5 lap dances for donations?

The grift is over, Junior. Donald Trump owes $900 million in loans, and half of the debt will be due at the start of 2021. And Trump was just fired from his job.
