Donald Trump took to Twitter on Monday morning to announce in all-caps that a COVID-19 vaccine is coming soon that’s 90% effective. And while that is true, the company, Pfizer, did not work with Operation Warp Speed. Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla told Dr. Sanjay Gupta, “The vaccine will be available for free to all American citizens,” so that is good news for a change. President-elect Joe Biden’s team has already announced the group of public health experts that will make up his coronavirus advisory board.

As Biden springs into action to take on the pandemic, Donald Trump Jr. suggested that the pharma company timed its announcement to damage his father.

“The timing of this is pretty amazing,” he tweeted. “Nothing nefarious about the timing of this at all right?”

Twitter users pounced.

The grift is over, Junior. Donald Trump owes $900 million in loans, and half of the debt will be due at the start of 2021. And Trump was just fired from his job.
