First Lady Dr. Jill Biden’s White House Christmas decorations have sparked quite a lot of discussion among social media users after the official unveiling of the decor — mostly because she actually filled the People’s House with warm, heartfelt Christmas cheer, rather than the cold, stark, clinical page out of The Handmaid’s Tale, that her predecessor Melania Trump was so fond of.
The majority of people were quick to notice the staggering difference in the two First Lady’s holiday spirit, as Dr. Biden filled her Christmas tree with photos from her personal collection of all the past United States presidents (and even included the Trumps), while Melania just seemed to sit around with her good, old-fashioned “fuck Christmas” attitude.
However, the ole Conservative crowd just couldn’t leave well enough alone once they started to realize how much praise the new First Lady was getting in comparison to their beloved stripper former First Lady.
Frankly, we knew there would be at least a few rotten Republican apples to come around and try to spoil the desperately needed Christmas cheer for the rest of us. But one rotten Republican, in particular, took us a bit by surprise.

None other than Trump’s eldest son and namesake, Donald Trump Jr., took to his Instagram account shortly after the unveiling of Dr. Biden’s decor and launched one of his typical, trademarked, nasty attacks against the woman who took his stepmom’s place.
“Anyone who ever criticised Melania’s Christmas decorations needs to apologise right now,” read an Instagram post from the former First Son that featured comparison photos of the two First Ladys’ Christmas decor.

“Lower expectations! The official Brandon administration,” Trump wrote on another image in the post, referencing the “Let’s Go Brandon” insult that the GOP crowd has recently adopted that they use as a euphemism for “Fuck Joe Biden.”
“If we lower our expectations any further we’re gonna turn into an S-hole country,” the caption on Jr.’s Instagram post reads.
Now, of course, we’re certainly not surprised by Jr. being a douchebag on a public social media post, especially when it comes to anything having to do with the Bidens. Frankly, we’ve come to expect that from him. But what we did find weird was the fact that he seemed to be defending his stepmother, Melania.
It’s been reported on a few different occasions that Melania doesn’t quite care for her husband’s children from his previous marriages, nor do the kids seem to care too much for her.
So, it certainly strikes us a little funny that Jr. gives a single damn about his step-mom being criticized in any way. Frankly, it seems to me he just looks for any ole reason to get a jab in at the Bidens — even if that means going on the defense of his evil stepmother.
