As has father continues to push racist rhetoric and terminology against Asian-Americans while simultaneously sending the occasional tweet to try to backtrack his hatred as yet another minority group suffers the harm from his blatant disregard for nonwhites, Donald Trump Jr. continues to march on with the racist garbage that now surrounds the coronavirus.
In a post on Instagram, Junior shared a racism-fueled meme/video hybrid of his father’s head superimposed on the Karate Kid’s body, an American flag patch on his arm, fighting the coronavirus. The eldest Trump son offensively captioned the post, “Hahahahaha ‘The Kung-Flu Kid.'” — a racist term for COVID-19 that many prominent GOPers have taken up the habit of using in regard to the deadly pandemic that originated in a wet market in Wuhan, China.
The terminology gained its highest traction when Chinese-American reporter Weijia Jiang claimed that one White House staffer actually used the racist term to her face when referring to the potentially fatal novel virus.

It seems as though the United States’ recent surge to the top as the country with the most coronavirus cases in the world has done absolutely nothing to stanch the Trump crew’s idiocy and heartlessness. This is far from the first time that Donald’s namesake has made offensive posts on his social media accounts regarding the origin of the illness or referencing his father in increasingly strange ways, including as a Baby Yoda, depicting him with a man bun, and even as a PornHub thumbnail.
Trump himself has been repeatedly chastised for referring to COVID-19 as the “Chinese virus” and only recently pledged to drop the racist terminology after several days of doubling down in defense of himself because “that’s where the virus came from.”
It’s clear that the entire Trump family has no regard for what happens to the Asian-American community as a result of their thoughtless, hateful behavior. They’ll take a good laugh at pretty much anyone’s expense, as long as it’s not an unflattering picture of their pops.
