CNN’s Don Lemon tore into Donald Trump on Sunday night, asking why he is so obsessed with former President Barack Obama. And Lemon isn’t wrong as Trump continues to blame his predecessor for just about everything, including the lack of testing for COVID-19 — even though it’s a new virus that literally didn’t exist during Obama’s time in office. The former reality show star’s obsession with Obama began long before he ran for office, and Trump even accused the former president of being born in Kenya while trying to delegitimize our country’s first black president.
In a calm voice, the CNN host had a few questions for our obsessed president, and we’re sure Trump hate-watches his show since he’s previously called Lemon “the dumbest man on television.” And we’re sure Trump will get back to the namecalling at some point this morning while he’s crying on Twitter.
“What is it about President Obama that really gets under your skin? Is it because he’s smarter than you? Better educated? Made it on his own?” Lemon asked while looking at the camera. “Didn’t need daddy’s help? Wife is more accomplished? Better looking? I don’t know, what is it, what is it about him?”
“That he’s a black man that’s accomplished being president?” Lemon continued. “That he punked you on the whole birth certificate thing? What is it about him? Just wondering.”

Barack Obama must view Trump as that clingy girl in the fifth grade that just wouldn’t let go after she was rejected. Well, Trump is supposed to be an adult now, although there’s little evidence of that with the exception of his sagging and wrinkling skin. I’m old enough to remember conservatives falsely saying Obama blamed everything on former president George W. Bush. Then they put Trump in the White House, a man who blames Obama for everything.
Well, Mr. Trump will never fill Obama’s shoes. Former President Barack Obama held office with grace and dignity and displayed empathy for Americans in distress. Trump is incapable of thinking of anyone but himself, including the nearly sixty-eight thousand Americans that have died on his watch.
