Former President Donald Trump responded to his former adviser Steve Bannon’s indictment by a grand jury, and it appears that the former reality show star is getting nervous. Like Trump, Bannon tried to claim executive privilege, but he wasn’t part of the administration at the time. Bannon is charged with one count for failing to appear for a deposition and another for refusing to hand over documents to the committee investigating the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection. He could face fines and up to one year in prison for each count.
“This Country has perhaps never done to anyone what they have done to Steve Bannon and they are looking to do it to others, also,” Trump insisted. The twice-impeached one-term president claims that our country is “failing at a level at which we have never seen before,” and added that “We never talk about making our Country great.”
“The USA is a radicalized mess!” Trump added.

In a statement earlier, Trump said, “Why aren’t they investigating the people and states who cheated on the election causing the protest of January 6?”
Of course, Trump still has no proof that widespread voter fraud occurred in the 2020 presidential election. The former president tried to cling to power by whipping his supporters into a frenzy then telling them to march to the Capitol. Trump has never taken responsibility for his actions, and this is another example of that. The ‘law and order’ president tried to overturn a legitimate election, and frankly, everyone in his orbit should be embarrassed. And while he’s calling the United States a “radicalized mess,” he’s not even smart enough to get the irony of his statement after his supporters stormed the Capitol. He’s dumber than a frozen grocery store chicken with the emotional maturity of a tater tot.
