Donald Trump Is Begging His Supporters For Money For A “Brand New Trump Force One” Soon After Reports Are Released Claiming Plane He Was On Was Forced To Make An Emergency Landing

This isn't even surprising at this point.

We just reported a little bit ago that the plane Donald Trump was on over the weekend was forced to stop for an alleged “emergency landing” as the ex-president was on his way home from an RNC event in New Orleans where he delivered a speech, according to a report from POLITICO.

“The plane was in the air for between 20 and 30 minutes before one of the engines failed and the pilot of the private plane decided to turn around and return to the New Orleans airport,” POLITICO reported based on information provided by sources with knowledge on the matter. “Audio of the communications between the pilot and the air traffic control tower revealed that the landing was described as ’emergency in nature,’ according to the source, who had been briefed on the recording. However, another person familiar with the recording disputed that the word ’emergency’ was used.”

Now, it appears as though the pathetic, one-term, twice-impeached former guy is already trying to capitalize on the ordeal by calling on his supporters to make donations for a new airplane, following the reports that the plane he was on over the weekend experienced issues.

“Do you remember Trump Force One?” an email to Trump’s supporters read just mere hours following the news breaking over the plane troubles he experienced this weekend. “Before becoming the greatest President of all time, I traveled the Country in my plane, known as Trump Force One. I have a very important update on my plane, but I need to trust that you won’t share it with anyone: my team is building a BRAND NEW Trump Force One.”t

The email, the bill for which was footed by Trump’s Save America JFC, the work that’s apparently been done on the plane has been kept “under wraps.” The email swears up and down that the new Trump plane is some big, well-kept secret from the media — so I guess he’s just completely ignoring the numerous reports claiming he purchased a new engine for the plane after it was forced to make an emergency landing in Nashville last year.

It’s worth noting that while the details of the funding regarding the plane are unclear if the ex-president’s PAC pays for the plane or the repairs, it raises questions as to whether or not the Trump Organization will be able to use the aircraft for its travel needs.

The Washington Post points out that the plane that experienced issues over the weekend was not Donald Trump’s plane, but belonged to a trustee out of Utah.
