Donald Trump Reportedly Called A 2020 Democratic Senate Candidate “Very Attractive” Before Claiming “Not That I’ve Looked At A Woman That Way In Five Years” — He’s Been With Melania For Over 20

Welp, you're telling on yourself, Donald.

According to the tell-all book from New York Times reporters Jonathan Martins and Alexander Burns, Trump once referred to Susan Collins’ 2020 Democratic Senate challenger Sara Gideon as “very attractive” before he apparently backpedaled and claimed, “not that I’ve looked at a woman that way in five years.”

Business Insider reports on this revelation and several others that have come from the bombshell new opus, with many yet to come down the pike — including the now ex-president’s involvement in down-ballot races and various 2020 meetings with party leaders.

Martins and Burns write in the forthcoming book that then-Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell made a conscious effort to avoid bringing up the topic of congressional races in which Donald Trump wasn’t a fan of the Republican incumbent. GOP House Rep. Susan Collins was one of these, after she made a habit of regularly disagreeing with Donald Trump on key issues throughout his term, and dared to openly and publicly express her criticism of him.

However, the authors claimed that during “several meetings” with Senate Republicans and campaign strategists, now ex-President Trump “could not resist weighing in with what he might call locker room talk” about Collins’ Democratic opponent Gideon, “the telegenic Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives.”

“Sara Gideon — very attractive. Very attractive,” Trump allegedly said during one of these meetings before going on to add, “not that I’ve looked at a woman that way in five years—five years at least.”

Now, the thing is, we’re struggling to figure out where this 5-year thing is coming from, to be frank, as Donald Trump has been with his current and third wife, Melania Trump, for upwards of 20 years now. Despite allegations of numerous affairs, sexual assault and rape allegations, and the infamous genital grabbing scandal, Donald Trump has been involved with the Slovanian native since 1998 and married the “model” in 2005.

Did she only crack the whip in the last 5 years or so?

Make that make sense.
