Donald Trump’s press briefing was totally bonkers, from the president claiming he’s done more than any of his predecessors to calling Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden “stupid.” Trump seemed angry at different points while standing on the White House lawn, lashing at different reporters. But, one such case stood out as Trump seemed to get annoyed when a reporter wouldn’t take off his protective face mask amid the raging pandemic that has taken over two hundred thousand American lives. Over six million Americans have contracted the disease, but President Ranty got upset when a reporter followed the most basic guidelines.
“You’re gonna have to take that off,” Trump tells the reporter.

The thirty seconds of the president petulantly demanding that a reporter take off his mask here is just the prelude to an amazing clip. https://t.co/Ed3tiVfsu0

feel the need to create an entirely new class of epithets to describe this guy. The old ones just don’t quite seem up to the task any more.

Demanding the reporter take his mask off to ask a question is obscene.

Later on, Trump praised a reporter who he said sounded “clear,” who possibly wasn’t wearing a mask. This isn’t hard, you guys. Wearing a mask can literally save other people’s lives, but Trump is a malignant narcissist that doesn’t care about others. It should piss off everyone he gives a briefing, then uses the podium as a MAGA event paid for by taxpayers.
Good for the reporter for refusing to be bullied by the President of the United States. Trump should lead by example, but instead, he acts like a toddler who doesn’t want to take his medicine. Trump wants every state to open back up when in reality, we’d be fully opened already if the president had acted sooner and if he hadn’t made wearing a mask a political issue. Forty-five more days.
