Donald Trump Told Attendees At Speaking Event What One Of His “Greatest Achievements” Was And We Think It’s Kind Of Pathetic

That's it, dude?

Former President Donald Trump kicked off his second recent rally in what’s been described as his revenge tour against Republicans who defied him in the aftermath of the 2020 election and January 6 insurrection. The twice-impeached one-term president is doing that because he’s a petty and vindictive bitch. The rally was held in Sarasota, Florida, and to no one’s surprise, he listed his grievances. Again. And he brought up “Crooked Hillary Clinton” as if we’re stuck in 2016 in a loop. Trump’s speech was long, of course.

The twice-impeached one-term president tore into President Joe Biden for things Trump had four long years to correct. Y’all, he had four years, and he couldn’t do it. He even, at one point, mentioned Iran and said that if he had one more week, he could have fixed the situation. As for the border, all Trump did, basically, was put up replacement fencing. That’s not a solution, obviously.

So, what did Trump accomplish in four years? Surely, if he’s addressing a large crowd of his supporters, he has something of substance to offer; after all, the man has suggested that he might consider another presidential run in 2024. Or is it in August? He keeps moving the goalposts.

Trump really should make a campaign ad for this one. (jokey joke)

“One of my greatest achievements is explaining the media in this country is corrupt,” Trump declared in front of his adoring crowd. “And it is corrupt. It will go down as one of my greatest achievements.”

That’s it, you guys. That’s all he had to offer after the four longest years of our lifetimes. Let’s compare, shall we?

President Biden created the most jobs in the first 100 days of any presidency since records began in 1939. However, the job growth under Biden came from a low base point given that in April last year, unemployment hit its highest level since the Great Depression of the 1930s. Trump was the president last year, by the way. More than 22 million jobs were lost in the space of two months due to the impact of COVID-19, the very disease that Trump failed to address when he first learned of the looking threat. In contrast, Biden has been laser-focused on the pandemic and took the disease seriously. We can do normal things again because there is an adult in charge. We didn’t have this with Trump, but sure, he called the media “fake news.” And he thinks that’s a great achievement. Congrats, big guy!
