Look, reports may be coming out saying the ex-president Donald Trump is sad, depressed, and kinda desolate after his humiliating departure from the White House and the subsequent decision from multiple social media platforms to keep him and his dangerous, lie-filled nonsense banned from their sites. But the fact of the matter is, absolutely none of that is going to do a single thing to affect Trump’s over-inflated, narcissistic ego.
The former president proved as much during a recent interview with Dan Bongino on The Dan Bongino Show podcast, when Trump and the host began to discuss the prospect of Donald’s big, fat head being added to Mount Rushmore, and Donnie readily agreed that his likeness would be sharing space with George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, if only he were a Democrat because he saved America.
Of course, this is far from the first time that Donald Trump and Mount Rushmore have been a thing. Last year, the New York Times reported that back in 2019, then-President Trump had been inquiring about the “process” behind adding his over-inflated head to the American monument. The Times also reported that Gov. Kristi Noem “greeted him with a four-foot replica of Mount Rushmore that included a fifth presidential likeness: his.”
Trump denied the reports at the time but mused that he thought it would be a fantastic idea. Not many people agreed with him.

Bongino brought the topic up again during his recent podcast interview with the ex-president.
Towards the beginning of the interview, Trump and Dan were deep into a discussion about the success of Donald’s Operation Warp Speed, claiming it exceeded everyone’s expectations in getting a COVID-19 vaccine created, produced, and out to the American public.
While still on the topic of his vaccine success, Trump claimed that “worldwide, we saved tens of millions of lives. Tens of millions of lives.”
“And in our country, you know in a sense, in a true sense, we saved our country with the vaccine,” Trump added, repeating numerous times throughout the interview that the success never would have happened with anyone else in the Oval Office.
Toward the end of the podcast interview, Bongino said Trump was a very popular figure in Hollywood before he decided to run for President on a Republican ticket.
“If you would have run as a Democrat,” the host said. “You’d be on Mt. Rushmore right now.”
“I know, I know — yeah, I would have,” Trump enthusiastically agreed.
He also told the podcast host that he is giving “most serious consideration” to another run at the White House in 2024. The two spoke about the timing of that potential 3rd crack at the presidency and Trump said probably the “most appropriate time” to officially announce his candidacy would be after Biden’s midterms. “That’s my opinion,” he said.
The pair of right-wing dingbats also made sure to squeeze in some discussion about one of Trump’s most favorite topics — the media.
