Donald Trump’s tax returns have been quite the sticky subject since before the man even weaseled his way into the White House by virtue of Vladimir Putin and the Russian government.
All throughout his 2016 campaign, the man promised to cough up those pesky little boogers complete with all of his financial details. Yet, here it is more than halfway through 2019 and not only are they absolutely nowhere to be found, he is literally doing everything in his power to keep them buried deep within the pits of hell, located just under Deutsche Bank, tucked away right beside what’s left of his rotting soul.
But according to a new report from CNN, House Democrats, with the help of Deutsche Bank themselves, are bringing in the metaphorical backhoe to start digging up some Trump tax skeletons.
CNN reported today that the long-time Trump creditor — the only bank that would suspiciously lend Trump any money after several failed business attempts and bankruptcies — has now indicated to a federal judge that they do, in fact, have Donald’s tax returns and are willing to hand them over to House Democrats in compliance with their subpoena issued to the bank in connection with their investigation into the president’s finances.

So far, we’re still unsure as to whether or not the courts will be allowing this to take place, and if so, when we can expect it to happen.
As mentioned, the hunt for Donnie’s tax returns is merely one piece of a very large puzzle from the House Democrats, as part of their Congressional oversight duties, to muddle through Trump’s finances and determine whether or not there are conflicts of interests with his family businesses.
Of course, Donald and his administration have tried to claim the Dem’s investigation has no legitimacy, and therefore they’ve attempted to completely dismantle their investigation at every opportunity — which basically translates to Trump knows he’s about to be in a world of shit if all of this information comes to light.
