She deserved every bit of that.

Controversial Republican Colorado House Rep. Lauren Boebert spent her Christmas holiday this year getting absolutely ripped by one of her own “embarrassed” constituents in one of the most brutally vicious open letters we’ve ever borne witness to.

Recently, embattled Ukrainian President Voldomyr Zelenskyy made an appearance before United States Congress as his country continues to fight against invading Russian forces under dictator Vladimir Putin. Boebert earned herself some bad attention and serious backlash among the American people and in the media for her blatant and frankly disgusting display of disrespect towards the world leader when she refused to applaud or even stand in recognition of the Ukrainian president during his visit and appearance.

Following Boebert’s shameless display of pettiness and disrespect, Colorado constituent Carol Cure penned a fiery op-ed in The Durango Herald, where she held nothing back against the GOP princess who has apparently “learned absolutely nothing.”

In the open letter to Boebert, published in the outlet on Christmas Day, Cure wrote, “after receiving the narrowest congressional reelection margin in the country, U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert has apparently learned absolutely nothing.”

By refusing to stand or applaud the heroic Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his speech to Congress, she has once again embarrassed her 3rd Congressional District constituents and the entire country. During this historic speech, Boebert was seen scrolling on her phone rather than listening, while sitting next to U.S. Rep Matt Gaetz who was doing the same.”

Cure didn’t stop there, going on to take aim at not only Boebert, but her close House Rep. crony, Florida’s scandal-ridden Matt Gaetz, for refusing to “acknowledge the heroism” of President Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people as a whole — who, according to The Independent, have now been under attack by invading Russian forces for upwards of 300 days.

Cure fired off on the Republican House reps for blatantly ignoring Capitol Police forces, and shamelessly going out of their way to circumvent security checks outside of the House Chambers.

They are among a small group of far-right House members opposed to any future aid to Ukraine and are demanding a ‘full investigation’ into the aid already sent to help the war-torn country survive. It’s clear that Boebert does not understand the importance of defending democracy in our world and does not care about the wishes of her constituents. She is clearly on the wrong side of history. Will she never learn?”

Ultimately, Zelenskyy’s speech to Congress was only attended by 86 out of 213 House Republicans.
