The way Donald Trump has handled this whole coronavirus outbreak just does not make sense.
Don’t get me wrong, I know that man is a huge, steaming pile of human garbage. There’s no doubt about that. He’s greedy and narcissistic and self-serving and really, really stupid.
But even with all that, I’ve had a really hard time wrapping my head around the way he’s responded to the coronavirus. If nothing else, I would think he’d be champing at the bit to get this thing handled as quickly as humanly possible in an effort to hang on to those slim chances he had at reelection.
But instead, he’s done next to nothing it seems. It’s only been within the last few weeks or so that Trump has even really responded to this thing at all. It wasn’t that long ago that he was labeling coronavirus as nothing more than the “seasonal flu,” claiming it’d be out of the United States before we knew it, and encouraging Americans to go on into work regardless of a positive diagnosis.
Since then, it is true that he’s switched gears some, finally announcing a national emergency and encouraging the public to engage in social distancing and whatnot. However, it’s still the bare minimum at best. And I can’t figure it out.

I’d venture to say a whole lot of my fellow humans are feeling the same way as we continue to worry about our jobs, our families, and our futures.
However, it looks as though one expert might have an answer for us. And if he’s right, it’s even worse than we thought.
Dr. Jack Brown is a body language and emotional intelligence expert and he took to his Twitter recently and offered us all his explanation for Trump’s behavior and lack of a legitimate response regarding COVID-19. According to Dr. Brown, Donald doesn’t actually have any real desire to flatten the curve.
“Flatten the curve” basically means spreading out the time it takes for the virus to do its damage, so as not to overwhelm our healthcare systems. That’s where the quarantines and social distancing hail from.
But Dr. Jack, in his professional opinion, believes that Trump wants that curve to stay as high as possible, not only to get the whole thing over with quickly but because when it comes down to it, Donald Trump is a sadist who gets his jollies from human suffering.

4/ He wants to create more panic and chaos because he’s a Sadist (along with being a Sociopath/Psychopath, a Narcissist, and a Machiavellian, and a drug abuser). Sadists get true (sick) pleasure out of inflicting suffering and death — while watching other people suffer and die.

7/ Trump’s behavior is analogous to the captain of a sinking ship guaranteeing himself a lifeboat while increasing the number of passengers who drown — or a member of the Donner party keeping a secret hoard of food while letting the others starve — and, he’s enjoying it.
