It’s been a big day for the Trump clan, folks. After months of waiting on bated breath for something, anything, to happen with regard to the investigations currently raging into the former president’s business, the Trump Organization, at least one of what I expect to be many shoes dropped today. Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg turned himself into the authorities this morning in regard to a staggering 15 different charges lodged against him in connection to the investigation.
Weisselberg was led into a Manhattan courtroom today, wearing handcuffs, where he went on to plead not guilty to all 15 charges.
And the Trumps are pissed.
The ex-president was quick to express his disdain for the situation as he watched his business’ CFO “perp walk” into the court today. And now, the ridiculous responses from his equally as guilty children are starting to come in.

This evening, the middle Trump son Eric has publicly responded to today’s development in the investigation against his father’s organization, ultimately calling Weisselberg’s charges a “political vendetta.”
Eric’s, who serves as the executive vice president of the family business, comments came in a response he gave to the Daily Mail.
“It is an absolute abuse of power and a political vendetta,” the middle Trump son fumed. “They are petrified my father will run again in 2024.”
“After five years, hundreds of subpoenas, three and a half million pages of documents, and dozens of witnesses, this is what they have?” he went on to ask, though, we all know we certainly haven’t seen the last of it from prosecutors.
Eric went on to assert that his father’s family business has nothing to hide.
“Any taxpayer should be infuriated by this political witch hunt, especially as young girls are getting shot in the middle of Times Square and as people are fleeing New York state in record numbers,” the Trump son no one cares about continued to whine, referencing a 4-year-old girl who was shot in the leg in Times Square back in May. “These people are cruel, and this will expose them for who they truly are.”
Donald Trump himself has also responded to the development, fuming, “The political Witch Hunt by the Radical Left Democrats, with New York now taking over the assignment, continues. It is dividing our Country like never before!”
Seems Eric gets it honest.
