Former Federal Prosecutor Issued A Brutal Prediction That Spells The End For Donald Trump: “Mike Pence Will See The Inside Of A Federal Grand Jury Room”

Former Trump Era Vice President Mike Pence has made it crystal clear to the world that he has no love left for his former boss after the now ex-president very deliberately put his own right-hand man’s life in direct danger through his rhetoric and actions during the January 6th Capitol attack.

But when it comes to actually committing to doing anything useful against the former president, in any sort of effort to make Donald Trump atone for his sins, Pence has been wishy-washy, at best. At one point earlier in the year, he admitted in an interview that he would “consider” delivering his own testimony before the January 6th House Select Committee. However, now that the GOP has regained power in the House by a razor-thin margin, and will soon disband that J6 Committee and its investigation, Pence pulled back on his willingness to voluntarily get involved in the investigation, saying in a new interview that he will refuse to testify before House investigators as he believes, “Congress has no right to my testimony” — though the Committee did put the former VP on notice, letting Pence no with no uncertainty that they are, in fact, entitled to his testimony if they need it.

But one former federal prosecutor said none of that may matter in the end, as the Justice Department’s new Special Counsel investigation looms heavy over Trump World.

Renowned former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner recently made an appearance on MSNBC with host Yasmin Vossoughian, where he said that the former Trump Administration vice president will soon be testifying before a federal grand jury, whether he likes it or not, in connection to DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into Donald Trump’s attempt to overthrow the 2020 US presidential election.

The New York Times recently reported that the US Justice Department is looking to speak with former Vice President Mike Pence regarding the events that took place on January 6th.

During their recent MSNBC segment, Vossoughian asked Kirschner, “What if he refuses? What tools does he have in his toolbox to in fact refuse, because that’s exactly what he did to the House investigating committee.”

“Yes, Jasmine, I would bet $1 — that’s my betting limit, I’m not a high roller — that Mike Pence will see the inside of a federal grand jury, hearing room,” the former federal prosecutor answered.

Kirschner went on to further explain, “He kind of infamously told Congress, the Jan. 6 committee, that he was, ‘closing the door’ on appearing before them. And he also said, seven words that I think should leave the American voters to decide that he is unqualified to hold office in the future. He said, ‘Congress has no right to my testimony.’ When we realized that Congress is involved in an investigation to try to legislate, try to pass new laws, to prevent what happened on Jan. 6, from ever happening again, an attack on democracy, peaceful transfer of power, Mike Pence has some of the most directly relevant evidence because he is what we call a fact witness.”

“He was the victim of Donald Trump’s pressure campaign, trying to get him to violate the law, the electoral count act, and Mike Pence has said Congress — and by extension, the American people — have no right to my testimony,” Kirschner added. “I don’t understand how he can maintain that when he’s a central figure with some of the most important evidence.”

Long story short, Pence, there’s no way out of this.
