To put this as bluntly as possible, Russian forces violently invaded and attacked the country of Ukraine under Vladimir Putin’s direct order and people have had it up to their necks with Donald Trump’s bullshit rhetoric and behavior surrounding the whole damn thing.
In the aftermath of the invasion and attack, former chairman of the Republican National Committee and former Republican governor of Montana, Marc Racicot effectively tore Donald Trump a whole entire new one over the disgraced, one-term, twice-impeached former guy’s absolutely disgusting remarks he’s made regarding Putin, Russia, and Ukraine in the days leading up to and since the devastating war.
Racicot has previously published an op-ed in a somewhat similar vein, in which he railed against the current chair of the Republican National Committee, Rona McDaniel. But the former head of the RNC took it a step further still in his fiery rebuke of the shameful ex-president, who he pegged as “not fit to lead this nation” in a downright brutal piece for Montana’s Independent Record.
The former governor opened his ruthless takedown with a list of “the essential qualities of leadership and human character.” He was quick to note that these very qualities, which “we all know them when we see them,” include “decency, honesty, humility, honor, and faithfulness.”

“And so it must be said: Donald Trump does not possess those essential qualities of character that leave him fit to lead this nation, most especially in a time of crisis,” Racicot blistered.
He stated that Trump’s “recent comments before and after the Russian invasion were laced with reckless propositions, cruelty, and improprieties which continue to poison and fray the political life and social fabric of the nation,” while citing the ex-president’s recent praises of Vladimir Putin, calling the Russian dictator “savvy” and “genius” when discussing his invasion and attack tactics.
“The vicious actions of the Russian president have been universally condemned by decent people everywhere. But, not by Donald Trump. To the contrary, the former president could only express his admiration of the Russian president’s tactics,” the former RNC chair fumed.
Racicot went on to condemn Donald Trump’s recent claims regarding NATO, the Soviet Union, and what he felt was the former United States president cracking jokes about the violent invasion of Ukraine.
“The former president then went on to make light of the situation in Ukraine, telling his donors in New Orleans that the United States should ‘put the Chinese flag’ on F-22 jets and ‘bomb the s***’ out of Russia. And then we say, China did it. They start fighting with each other, and we sit back and watch,'” the former Republican official noted.
Racicot concluded his fervid piece with a stark, clear-cut warning to his fellow Republicans, in the form of a J.M. Smith quote: “If you dance with the devil, then you haven’t got a clue, for you think you’ll change the devil, but the devil changes you.”
