If you’ve ever found yourself wondering whether Donald Trump really and truly is as painfully ignorant and downright stupid as he sounds, or if this is just some screwed up ruse he uses in an attempt to further pull the wool over everyone’s eyes, you don’t have to wonder any longer. I’ve got your answer right here.
Thanks to an admission from the former ranking member of the Senate Homeland Security Committee Claire McCaskill on MSNBC, not only do we now pretty much know that Donald is absolutely every bit as idiotic as he seems, but also that his Republican jockeys in the Senate know that he has no clue what he’s talking about majority of the time.
“I mean, that’s the thing about the Republican senators in that chamber, they know this guy doesn’t know whit about public policy,” McCaskill explained during the MSNBC segment, “You should hear the stories they tell when they come back from meetings at the White House.”
The former Senator then went on to reveal, “I’ve had Republican senators say to me they were in a meeting at the White House with the president on health care and it was clear he had no idea what he was talking about. I mean, what, just yesterday, he does a meeting with the Iraqi leader — of the Kurdistan in Iraq — and he starts talking about safe zones in Syria. He doesn’t even know the difference. So the notion that he is drilled down in Ukraine and is trying to implement public policy, nobody in that chamber believes it.”

This just serves as further confirmation that these supporters of his inside our government literally KNOW how unhinged, knowledgeable, and just plain ignorant Trump truly is. They’re quite literally talking about it behind his back at this point.
It really and truly leads you to wonder why on Earth they continue to blindly support him. What reason could they possibly have to continue to damage their reputations beyond repair just to defend him?
At this point, I’m not sure if we’ll ever have a real answer. I just know that it doesn’t make a bit of sense.
