Folks, there’s a reason why Barack Obama’s former Vice President, Joe Biden, is on a quick rise to the top as the United States Democratic nominee, and will soon be facing off against Donald Trump to finally unseat this nation’s biggest mistake after the longest, hardest four years of our lifetime — long story short, he’s the complete opposite of Trump in every conceivable way.
Biden cares about this country and the people who live in it, no matter what color their skin is, who they fall in love with, or what political affiliation they are.
While the former Vice President certainly isn’t perfect (nobody is), there’s never been a single doubt in my mind that he wants the very best for the country he loves.
That’s why it came as no surprise to us when Biden vowed to choose a woman for his running mate on his 2020 presidential ticket. He knows that this country needs diversity and a serious change in mindset when it comes to women in power, and he wasn’t about to let that opportunity pass him by.

However, equally unsurprising, is the Trump team’s reaction to Biden’s promise.
Former Trump 2016 campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, went on Fox News and made it a point to berate and criticize the former VP and Democratic frontrunner for his decision to do something Donald Trump would never dream of — because, to Donald Trump, women are nothing more than meat meant to be ogled and groped.
“Look at Joe Biden as he’s trying to select a vice-presidential candidate. His only criteria for a vice-presidential candidate is gender, not the best person for the job,” Corey began his rant. “He’s basically said, ‘Look, I’m gonna go back to the 1920s, I’m gonna pick persons only based on their gender.’ It’s outrageous, it’s insulting to women, it’s insulting to men.”
Couple of things here, Corey. Women being excluded from everything in the 1920s is far from the same thing as Biden promising to choose a female running mate. Your misogyny is showing.
Secondly, I can promise you now that far more women are insulted by Trump’s admission regarding where he tends to “grab” women than they are at Biden’s decision to choose a female running mate.
